Chief Investment Officer, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset Strategies
Steve joined Mackenzie in 2008. He oversees approximately 85 investment professionals involved in the day-to-day management of institutional and retail fixed income, quantitative equity and multi-asset strategies. As CIO, Steve also oversees the global investment operations team. Steve began his investment career in 1994 as a bond trader and credit analyst, with these roles encompassing rates and credit trading, and fundamental corporate credit analysis for public and private debt.
Steve earned a BA in Economics from York University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. He is also a CFA charterholder.
